Soap choice matters more than most techs admit
I see guys chase fancy ultrasonic solutions and proprietary mixes, but after running a full shop cleanup on 40 lenses last month, plain dish soap cut through haze better than the $60 stuff. The catch is rinsing with distilled water at the right temperature, everyone skips that step and blames the chemical. Has anyone actually pressure-tested their wash method side by side, or are we all just repeating what the parts catalog says?
