Random lady at a trailhead fixed my whole day

I was up near the North Cascades last month trying to set up my new tarp in the wind. This older woman walked over from her van and just said 'you're fighting it, let the wind work for you.' She showed me this simple knot trick that took 2 minutes. Has anyone else had a stranger at a campsite save their trip like that?
