Rated my sleeping pad +5°F warmer than the box says after a 22°F night in Big Bend
Turns out the R-value on the tag assumes no ground moisture and I used a reflective foil layer underneath, so my 3.2 pad performed like a 4.0, has anyone else tested their gear in real dirt vs. the lab numbers?
