Took me 4 hours to untangle my hammock suspension straps last weekend

I got back from a trip to Lake Tahoe and just stuffed everything in my garage bin. When I pulled out my Kammok straps this Friday they were a complete rats nest. It took me longer to sort that mess than it did to set up camp on the actual trip. Anybody got a decent storage trick for straps that actually works?

That's why I just use a carabiner and a tight wrap. Made that mistake one too many times too.

Used to be one of those people who thought carabiners were overkill, just an extra step. Had a big bundle come loose halfway up a ladder once and watched twenty pounds of cable crash down onto my foot. That moment of pure horror changed my mind real quick. Now I triple check the wrap and clip it every single time. Never again.

Yeah, I hear you. I've actually never had that happen with just a loose wrap and no carabiner. Maybe I'm just lucky or I'm not doing heavy enough work.
