Tried a hammock camping setup for the first time this weekend

I usually sleep on the ground with my tent and pad, but I grabbed a $40 hammock from a garage sale to try out. Got it hung up between two trees at the camp spot by the lake, and I actually slept way better than in my tent! Has anyone else made the switch from tents to hammocks and found it worth the extra setup effort?

Used to think hammocks were just for lounging around but after trying one overnight I'm totally sold on them for actual sleeping too lol.

Sleeping diagonally is the real trick for flatness though.
