Everyone in my circle told me a freezer was a waste of space and money but I did the math on my grocery runs and it worked out. I buy meat on sale at No Frills in Scarborough and freeze it in portions, saving about $45 a month compared to buying fresh each week. The freezer cost $180 used off Kijiji so it broke even around month four, but now I want to know if anyone else tracks their grocery savings this way or am I just being cheap?
