Showerthought: a teller at my Halifax credit union showed me my TFSA was just sitting in cash
She pulled up the screen and there was $11,400 earning basically nothing because I never picked a fund after opening it 2 years ago. Anyone else get talked into investing by a random branch visit, or did it backfire for you?
