The TD branch manager's comment at Queen and Bay changed my whole RRSP plan
I was at the TD on Queen and Bay in Toronto last month to transfer money and the manager said 'you're losing 4% a year with that mutual fund, just buy the index'. I laughed it off but ran the numbers after, he was right, my fees were killing me for 12 years. Anyone else get better advice from a random bank manager than their financial advisor?
