The teller at TD in Moncton who spotted a mistake in my RRSP transfer

Last month I was moving my RRSP from one bank to another, nothing crazy, just a simple transfer. I sat down with this teller, young guy, maybe 22, at the TD branch on Main Street in Moncton. He looks at my paperwork and goes "uh, this form says you're taking out a loan, not transferring. If you sign this, you'll get hit with a 30% withholding tax." I nearly signed it too, I was in a hurry because my break was ending. He caught it, fixed the form, and saved me about $4,800 in taxes on a $16,000 transfer. I've been driving trucks for 20 years, I've seen some paperwork messes, but a bank teller? That was a first. Have any of you ever had a bank employee catch a costly mistake that would've wrecked your whole month?

Bank tellers mess up more than they fix, honestly.
