Ditched my $50 Amazon resume template for a $200 career counselor and it flipped everything
After 30 rejections using that generic fill-in-the-blank template, I paid a counselor in Denver who actually rewrote my whole resume to target specific job keywords, and I got 3 interviews in 2 weeks. Has anyone else found that paying for a real human beats those cheap DIY kits?

$200 changed my mind. Real human beat that template every time.

It's honestly refreshing to see someone say that. Templates are fine for quick stuff but the real connection happens when you let a real person take over. I've seen so many campaigns that just feel lifeless and robotic because someone relied too much on a format. That $200 probably bought way more value in terms of authenticity.

Yeah man, it's funny you say that. I remember I was at a car dealership once and the salesman just kept reading off this script he had on his phone, totally blank stare, and I was like just be a person dude. Ended up walking out and buying from some guy who just shot the breeze with me for 20 minutes and told me about his dog. That $200 thing is exactly that kind of vibe, you can't fake that stuff.
