Had to pick between a Tesla and a Toyota after my buddy got canceled
My friend Dave got raked over the coals for driving a Cybertruck to a climate rally last month. I had to decide if I should keep my 2013 Corolla with 180k miles or trade up for something newer and shinier. I stuck with the Corolla because honestly I was scared of looking like a hypocrite online. Now my AC barely works and the check engine light has been on for 6 weeks. Has anyone else changed a major purchase just because of what people might say about it?

@the_simon probably has a point about the battery but maybe check if there's a way to offset the charge with a local renewable energy source.

Oh absolutely, nothing says "save the planet" like rolling up in a literal tank with a battery the size of a small car. @reed.elliot you gotta admit, the guy's got a flair for irony that's almost impressive. I'm just surprised he didn't park it on a solar panel for the full performance art piece.
