Hot take: I called out a YouTuber for faking a video and 400 people came for me in the comments
This guy with 2 million subs posted a video where he supposedly built a whole shed in one day. I build sheds. Nobody does that. So I left a comment pointing out the cuts and he pinned it and told his fans to roast me. For 3 days straight my inbox filled up with stuff like "stay mad" and "you're just jealous" and one guy dug up my address in Omaha. I said sorry and deleted my comment just to make it stop. What I learned is that being right does not matter when the crowd already picked a side. So here's my question for this group: was I wrong to back down, or is getting a mob off your back worth losing the fight?
