Last week a guy at the counter argued with me for 20 minutes about whether she deserved all the fallout, and he said something I keep chewing on: you can agree with a person's point and still think the pile-on got way too big. People lost book deals and jobs over stuff that had nothing to do with her posts, and that part rarely gets discussed. Where do you draw the line between holding someone responsible and just piling on?
