The patio furniture I bought in 2019 lasted 2 summers, the 2024 set is still going strong

I replaced my cheap metal set from Lowes three times in five years, then spent $900 on a powder coated aluminum set from a local shop in Portland. It's survived two rainy winters and a windstorm that took down my neighbor's fence. Anyone else notice the quality difference in newer outdoor stuff, or did I just get lucky this time?

Honestly the cheap stuff is just disposable now, that $900 set will probably outlive us all lol. You definitely got the right kind this time.
