Watched a YouTuber with 2 million subs get canceled over a 12 second clip last Tuesday
This guy I used to watch for cooking videos got torn apart after someone posted a clip from his stream where he made a joke about a food truck owner in Austin. The clip was 12 seconds long, no context, and it hit 4 million views in 2 days. I went back and watched the full 3 hour stream and the joke was clearly sarcastic and aimed at himself, not the owner. He lost 2 sponsors by Friday and posted an apology that made it worse. Does the length of the clip ever matter to you, or is 12 seconds enough to decide someone is done?
