Am I the only one who thinks patterned carpet is making a real comeback?
I rolled my eyes when a customer requested a busy floral pattern for their living room in Phoenix last month, but after I laid it out the whole room looked way better than I expected. Has anyone else seen more of these patterns showing up in residential jobs lately?

Actually that Reddit post was using a tiled pattern on accent walls, not actual carpet.

My buddy Jake put down a black and white geometric pattern in his spare bedroom last fall and said it totally changed the vibe in there. Have you been seeing more of that kind of stuff in your area too?

I was reading an article just last week from a home decor site that said geometric patterns are making a big comeback in smaller rooms like bedrooms and home offices. The writer mentioned it's because the sharp lines and contrast make a space feel bigger or more organized somehow. My wife and I were actually talking about it after I saw a post on Reddit where someone used a black and white hexagon pattern on one accent wall. They said it gave the room a modern feel without being too loud or busy. I think your buddy Jake is onto something with that choice for his spare bedroom.
