Just realized my carpet stays FLAT way longer since I began double-stretching.

Back in my early days, I'd stretch the carpet once and think it was done. Then I noticed edges lifting and wrinkles forming after a season. Now I ALWAYS stretch it, take a break, and give it another good pull before trimming. That extra step means NO callbacks for loose carpet this past year.

Ever notice how your body just remembers weird stuff? Tbh my legs still try to do this yoga move from like 2015 that I pulled a muscle on.

Isn't that just called power stretching?

Haha power stretching, that's the exact phrase my buddy Mark used. He tried that last year before a hike and pulled something in his leg. He could barely walk for two days.

Yeah it's wild how our bodies hold onto those bad memories. Like what amycarr said about her legs still trying that yoga move, my knee still gets nervous going down stairs after I slipped on ice years ago. It's like our muscles have their own little panic button that goes off way too easy. Honestly I think people push way too hard trying to get loose fast instead of just warming up normal. Mark learned that the hard way for sure.
