Picked power stretcher over knee kicker for a big living room job...

Had a 20x30 foot room with tight corners and a ton of seams, so I went with the power stretcher to save my knees and get better tension. The seams barely show and I finished in half the time... anyone else switch methods for bigger spaces?

The "half the time" claim sounds like a stretch unless you were super fast with setup and takedown. A power stretcher needs adjustment for every pass and takes longer to get dialed in than people think. I'd say it saves your body more than it saves actual clock time.

@jennifer833 I hear what you're saying about the adjustment time but honestly I've timed it both ways and half the time is about right for me. I think it depends a lot on the room size and how many cuts you're making.

Oh man, you totally get it. I've had the same realization after a few years of trying to be faster. It's like every time you think you're saving time, you're actually spending it on those tiny adjustments. My back definitely thanks me, but my clock disagrees. Plus, when you factor in the time it takes to charge the battery or deal with a jam, it's not a magic bullet. I feel like a lot of people just look at the final result and forget all the little steps in between.
