PSA: I finally switched from a 4-inch putty knife to a 6-inch for seam adhesive and the difference in speed and smoothness is insane.

After seeing a crew in Tampa finish a 1500 sq ft job a full hour faster because their adhesive lines were cleaner and needed less trimming, I had to try it myself.

My buddy's whole crew switched after seeing that trick.

My Tampa crew uses 8-inch knives for drywall.

Wait, is that why my drywall seams look like a toddler did them? I've been using a 6-inch like a fool, so maybe @danielnelson's crew is onto something. I should probably stop fighting my tools.

Yeah, that 6-inch knife fight is real... @danielnelson's right about the 8-inch, it just floats over the seams way easier.
