Watch out for that foam underlayment at Home Depot on South Main

I was in the Home Depot on South Main last Saturday grabbing some tack strips and noticed the warehouse crew was stacking those foam underlayment rolls right on top of the carpet display samples. The foam was getting crushed flat in the middle from the weight, and I bet anyone who buys one of those rolls is gonna end up with a lumpy floor. Has anyone else seen bad storage like this mess up their materials before you even get them to the job?

Is it worth the risk of pulling up a floor and starting over?

Pulled up my old kitchen floor two years ago and it was the BEST decision I ever made. Found some water damage underneath that would've gotten WAY worse if I'd just covered it back up. Took a weekend of work but totally worth it for the peace of mind and the fresh start.
