Had a cashier in Atlanta tell me I was throwing away money on name brand canned tomatoes

She rang up my $2.50 can and said the store brand works just as good in chili and I spent the next 3 weeks taste testing both to prove her wrong but she was right, has anyone else had a random stranger change their grocery habits?

Yeah I spent a whole month proving my wife wrong about store brand bacon and ended up having to admit she was right while I gained like 8 pounds.
