Had to pick between a hybrid job and full remote
Was stuck between a hybrid role paying $72k and a full remote gig at $58k. I took the remote job 8 months ago and it honestly saved me. No commute, no gas money, no buying lunch everyday. I figured that $14k difference turned into maybe $5k real after costs. Plus I can actually focus without office noise. Anyone else take a pay cut for better work setup?

Did you actually track your spending before and after to see how the numbers played out, or are you mostly guessing?
