Honestly, I used to think you had to kill every single dandelion in a lawn.

Tbh, a client in Boulder asked me to leave a patch for the bees last spring, and seeing all the pollinators changed my whole view. Anyone else had a similar experience with a 'weed'?

Wait, you think they just choke out the grass? That's wild to me. I let a corner of my yard go last year and the clover and grass mixed together just fine, it was actually thicker. The dandelion roots break up hard soil and bring up nutrients for other plants. Calling them a mess feels like missing the whole point.

Seriously? They're still weeds. My whole yard would be a mess if I let those things go to seed. I mean, they spread like crazy and choke out the grass you actually want.

Seems like a lot of fuss over some yellow flowers.
