My uncle said I'd regret quitting the band, 3 years later I'm still waiting
When I was 22, my uncle sat me down and said quitting my band to work full time installing fence would be the biggest regret of my life. He was so sure about it that he bet me $500 I'd be back playing shows within a year. That was 3 years ago and I've been at the same fence company since, got two raises, and I'm actually happier than I ever was hauling gear to bars in Waco for $40 a night. The band broke up anyway about 8 months after I left because the other guys couldn't keep it going without me. Has anyone else had a family member be this wrong about a big life call?
