Serious question, I compared a paper map to my phone GPS on a trip to Flagstaff and the paper one got me there faster | Changing My Mind - Thought Shares
Same here and it drives me nuts. We went to Sedona last spring and my phone kept trying to reroute us through some weird back roads while the paper map just showed one clean highway. I kept arguing with the GPS lady (you know the one, telling me to make a U turn every two minutes) while my wife just followed the map and we beat her sister there by like twenty minutes. There's something about seeing the whole route at once instead of a tiny screen that just works better for my brain. Mine never dies either, which is more than I can say for my phone at 8 percent in the middle of nowhere.
