Switched from cash-only budgeting to credit card points, here's what happened

I always swore by paying cash for everything, thought cards were a trap. After 6 months of using a 2% back card in Portland, I ended up with 140 dollars in statement credits and zero overspending. Has anyone else found the discipline carries over better than they expected?

Did that 140 bucks actually change your spending habits, or just your payment method?

Cash is easier to blow through, but 140 bucks barely covers one good grocery run these days.
