Switched from plastic to glass food storage and I get it now
I was pretty sure glass containers were just heavy and breakable, no way they were worth the switch. But after my third plastic Tupperware lid got stained from spaghetti sauce and wouldn't close right, I grabbed a 12-pack of glass ones on sale for $28 at Target. Been using them for 6 weeks now, and honestly the lids seal better and nothing smells like last week's chili. Has anyone else dealt with trying to fit glass containers into crowded cabinets?

Did you try stacking them with the lids facing down between containers? That saved me a ton of space and keeps them from sliding around.

Does freezing them flat first help keep lids from popping off?
