Thought I could clean my dryer vent in 20 minutes. Took 4 hours.

I kept putting off cleaning my dryer vent because I figured it was a quick job. Finally did it last Saturday and the lint buildup was insane. The actual cleaning took me from 10am to 2pm because I had to pull the whole machine out and take the vent pipe apart. My clothes have been drying in one cycle instead of two ever since. Has anyone else found a hidden job that took way longer than you thought?

Wait, did your friend ever find out how long it takes to replace a garbage disposal? My buddy Kyle spent an entire Sunday on one because he didn't realize the old drain pipe was completely corroded. He had to run to the hardware store three times for different fittings and ended up cutting himself on the metal shavings. His wife was pretty mad he missed lunch.
