Just had my Hobart mixer gearbox seize mid-service on a Saturday night

Last Saturday at 7 PM I was mixing a 50 pound batch of pizza dough and the whole thing just locked up. Heard a grinding noise for about 2 seconds then nothing. Gearbox completely seized because I got lazy on the grease schedule. Had to finish the dough by hand with a wooden spoon and my arms are still sore 3 days later. Total repair is gonna run me around 400 bucks parts and labor. Anyone else ever push off maintenance too long and pay for it in a bad way?

Yeah, I've run 80 pounds through mine without any trouble.
