Pro tip: I dropped $150 on a Japanese mandoline for prep work and it's a total game changer

The super thin, even slices it makes for things like pickled veg or garnishes saves me at least 30 minutes a night. Anyone have a good sharpening method for the blades when they eventually dull?

What brand did you get? I always thought they were just a fancy grater, but my friend let me borrow hers for a batch of quick pickles and I was totally wrong. The uniform slices made them way crispier.

Did you ever try slicing them with a mandoline and almost lose a fingertip?

Wait, are you sure it was a mandoline and not a spiralizer? Those are pretty different tools for different jobs.

Game changer" is a bit much for a fancy slicer.
