Spent $150 on a high-end fish spatula and it changed how I flip eggs
I used to go through cheap spatulas every few months, they'd bend or the handle would get loose. This one from a restaurant supply place is thinner and flexible, it slides under stuff without breaking delicate fish or over-easy eggs. Has anyone else found one kitchen tool that was worth the upgrade?

Nah, I gotta correct you on one thing. That spatula is not overpriced, it's underpriced for what it does. You'll have it for years if you take care of it. I bought a similar thin flexible stainless one from a restaurant supply store for like 35 bucks and it's still going strong after five years of daily use. The real trick is getting one that's one solid piece of metal, no wooden handle or plastic bits to break. You paid extra for a name brand or fancy packaging, not for the tool itself. But hey, if it makes you happy cooking and flips eggs like a dream, then good for you honestly. Next time save some cash and check the supply house first though.

@wren638 bet that supply store spatula could double as a tiny roof scraper for a snowed-in chicken coop like I had to figure out last winter.
