The Saturday brunch service that broke me and built me back up

Back in 2019 I was working this little spot in Providence, and we had one Saturday where the walk-in list just kept growing. By noon we were 40 covers over what the books said, and my saute station had a ticket rail so long it curled around the pass. I dropped a full pan of hollandaise on my shoe, burned my forearm on the salamander, and still managed to plate 62 eggs benedict without one send-back. What made it stand out was the crew, nobody complained, we just kept calling out 'behind' and 'sharp' and somehow hit a rhythm. The owner bought us all beers after close and said the ticket count was our personal best. Has anyone else had one of those services where everything clicks exactly when it should fall apart?
