A trip to the Rockies showed me why chimneys don't draw right up high.
Thin air at altitude means you have to change your whole sweep method.

Read somewhere that even your taste buds change at high altitude. Like, food doesn't taste as strong because the air pressure messes with your senses. It's crazy how something we never think about down here has such a big effect. I heard from a friend who hikes that they always pack different snacks because normal stuff tastes bland. Makes you appreciate how tuned our bodies are to sea level conditions, lol. Really shows that altitude isn't just about breathing harder, it changes every little thing.

Totally true what @flores.patricia said. It's wild how just a few thousand feet can make you feel totally different, like your body is working way harder just to exist. Even simple stuff like baking goes completely wrong if you don't adjust. Makes you realize how fragile our normal conditions are down here. The air itself just feels thinner, it's a whole other world.
