Had a close call with a hidden flue liner in an old farmhouse near Boise
The clay tile had completely collapsed, and my brush dropped straight into the firebox. I only found it because I always use a mirror now. Anyone else run into this with pre-1950s brick chimneys?

mark436 asking what someone's trying to see is the whole thing. People are always looking for something, a better angle or a hidden truth. Like checking every review before buying a toaster, or rewinding a show because you're sure you missed a clue. We just don't trust the first look anymore.
