Just passed 1500 cleanings without a single callback - got mixed feelings about it
I hit 1,500 chimney cleanings last month and nobody has ever called me back with a complaint, but I'm starting to wonder if that means I'm being too careful and wasting time on jobs. A buddy of mine does half the prep work I do and his customers are just as happy, so maybe I'm the one doing it wrong. Has anyone else hit a milestone that made them question their own methods?

Saw a video about this where a guy said zero callbacks means you're pricing too low.

Whoa hold on, 1,500 cleanings with zero callbacks? That's wild to me. I'd be happy with that number. But I get why you're second guessing yourself. If your buddy cuts corners and nobody complains, it's easy to wonder if you're wasting time. But here's the thing: you don't get callbacks for a reason. Your customers probably appreciate the thoroughness even if they don't say it. A fire hazard from a dirty chimney is no joke, and you're not the one who has to live with that risk.
