DAE second-guess their engine swap after a chat with a purist at the auto parts store?
I was at the counter at Advance in Columbus picking up a fuel pump for my 350 swap in a '69 Camaro when the older guy behind me said, "You'll ruin the car's soul, no one wants a hacked-up engine bay." That hit different because I'd already cut the firewall and spent $2,300 on parts. Now I'm wondering if I should've kept the original 307. Has anyone else felt that regret mid-build, or is it just cold feet?
