Best way to store a classic car in a damp garage?

Hey everyone, I recently moved into a new place and the garage gets pretty damp during the rainy season. I'm worried about my '69 Mustang rusting or getting moldy sitting in there for months. Anyone have recommendations for heavy-duty indoor storage solutions? Regular cloth covers just seem to trap the moisture against the paint.

Totally agree with the active airflow idea. I've been using a CarCapsule for my Corvette and it's amazing. It basically seals the car inside a heavy-duty bubble and constantly circulates filtered air. Keeps out dust, bugs, and most importantly, moisture. I've never had an issue with dampness or musty smells since I set it up.

You definitely want to look into an active airflow system rather than just a traditional cover. If moisture gets trapped under a standard cover in a damp environment, it'll ruin your paint and chrome so fast. A dehumidifier for the whole garage might help too if it's sealed enough.
