Hit 18 months in storage and the tires still held air, that's what got me
Honestly I never believed the guys who said you could store a car long term and just drive it out. I put my 1966 Mustang in my buddy's barn in Round Rock back in fall of 2023, on jack stands, battery pulled, and a full tank with stabilizer. Went out last Saturday expecting to deal with flat spots and a dead battery but the tires held air the whole time and it fired on the second crank. Turns out the two things that mattered most were a concrete floor instead of dirt and a cheap breathable cover, not the fancy stuff I almost bought. Anybody else get surprised by how simple it was when the basics were right?
