PSA: checked my dad's garage after 3 years, the fogging oil routine paid off big
My dad stored his 1967 Mustang in a buddy's barn outside of Tulsa back in 2021 and I finally went out there last weekend to check on it. Back then he did the whole routine, fogging oil down the cylinders, fresh oil, battery pulled, car up on jack stands with the tires off the concrete. I pulled the plugs and the cylinder walls looked clean, no rust speckles at all. Compared to my neighbor's Chevelle that sat on the ground for the same stretch, his is a mess of scale and stuck rings. The only thing that changed was keeping it off the dirt and sealing the motor up. So what do you all do for the fuel side, drain it or fill it and add stabilizer?
