That one week in July when my '64 Mustang sat under a leaky barn roof
Came back after a rainstorm to find a puddle on the driver's seat and a rust spot forming on the floorboard, and now I'm checking every storage spot for roof integrity before I park anything.

Man, that really stings. It's like everything in life has a hidden plan to mess with you (like how I swear my mailbox only gets bills and junk mail when I'm already stressed). It makes you paranoid in a weird way where you start checking every little thing twice. I've started doing the same with my garage door seals now.

Learned that lesson the hard way with a leaky carport and my old Ford. Now I treat every barn roof like it's actively plotting against my floor pans.
