Got a notice last Tuesday saying my 55 gallon barrel was a 'nuisance water collection system' and I had 10 days to drain it, so I called the code office and it turns out the rule only applies if the barrel isn't screened against mosquitoes. Anyone else deal with this in their city, and did a lid actually fix it or do I need to fight it?
