The solar panel install that nearly caught fire in 2019

Back in 2019, I had panels put on my roof in Tucson. Three months later, I smelled burning plastic during a dust storm. Turns out the cheap DC disconnect was arcing inside. I shut everything down, called the installer, and they swapped it for a proper breaker box. Cost me an extra $180 but no fire. Has anyone else had a dodgy component fail on them after an install?
