Chose between a used Haas and a new Tormach for my garage, went with the Haas

I had about $22k to spend and picked up a 2006 Haas Mini Mill over a new Tormach 1100. The control is way better than I expected for the age, but I am already chasing a spindle noise that the seller swore was normal. Has anyone here rebuilt one of these spindles, and what did it run you?
