Found out a standard Bridgeport has about 16 inches of X travel and I ran a part that needed 19
Was reading the spec plate on our old Bridgeport at the shop in Dayton and realized it only has 16 inches of X travel, so the 19 inch rail bracket I quoted last week was never going to fit in one setup. Ended up having to flip it and re-indicate, which cost me about 40 minutes nobody billed for. Anyone else get bit by not checking travel specs before quoting a job?
