Had to pick between a 3-axis retrofit or a full 5-axis upgrade for our old Haas, went with the retrofit and it's been a headache

Used to believe a handshake deal was enough for small jobs. Joel's story and MichaelTorres calling it the worst changed my mind. Now I get everything in writing before any work starts. Saves so much trouble later on. A simple contract protects everyone.

It's wild how much we rely on trust in things that really matter. Getting burned once on something small like that makes you realize how easily things can go sideways when there's nothing written down.
