Hit 20,000 hours of runtime on my oldest CNC and it caught me off guard

I was doing some maintenance on my 2007 Haas this morning and noticed the spindle runtime counter read 20,047 hours. That machine was my first real purchase back when I was running parts out of my garage in Youngstown. I remember thinking I'd be lucky if it lasted 5 years without a rebuild. It's still holding tolerances within 2 tenths on most jobs, just takes a bit longer to warm up. Kinda makes me wonder how many of these older machines are still out there running parts every day like nothing changed. Has anyone else had a machine hit a crazy high hour count and keep going?

20,047 hours and still holding 2 tenths? That machine is running on pure spite at this point. I swear Haas builds em weird, some crap out at 5,000 hours and others just refuse to die. Mine's at 15,000 and the only thing it needs is a new coolant pump every few years. Sounds like yours has earned a retirement party but you're gonna keep kicking it down the road instead.
