My crew has been trying out biodegradable lubricants

This move cuts waste and is better for our health.

Remember when green products were just for show and never worked right. Now these plant based lubes can handle high heat and pressure just like the old toxic ones. It's wild how fast the tech has gotten better. Plus, not breathing in those harsh chemicals all day is a huge win for mechanic health. I bet in a few years, this will be normal in every shop.

So @kelly.hannah, do those citrus cleaners leave any sticky residue behind?

My neighbor's car detailer switched to plant based stuff a few years back. His whole shop smelled like a salad for a week.

The shop on South Lamar here in Austin uses all plant-based cleaners now. They actually smell like fresh mint or citrus, not lettuce at all. The formulas have gotten way better in the last couple years and work just as well as the old harsh chemicals. I'd rather my car smell like an orange than a chemical factory any day.
