Vent: Bought a cheap collet set online and it cost me a whole job

The runout was so bad it wrecked a $300 aluminum part before I even finished the first pass. I'm out the material and the shop time. Anyone have a go-to brand for collets that won't trash my work?

Ugh, same thing happened to me with a cheap end mill holder.

Sometimes cheap works fine, @stellaperry. Not every tool needs to be top tier.
