Can we talk about getting siblings into coding?
I always thought my younger sister would find coding way too confusing. Then she tried a beginner-friendly app and made a little quiz game, which totally changed my mind. What simple projects have worked for your family members who are new to this?

Yeah, the quiz game thing made me remember when my cousin tried something like that. He got the logic working fine but spent hours just picking font colors.

That app's probably something like Scratch or Code.org, they're built for that exact thing. My niece got hooked making those interactive stories where you click to change scenes, it's basically the same logic as a quiz but feels more like making a cartoon. The trick is projects that give a visual payoff fast, otherwise kids just stare at a blank terminal and get bored. Once they get that first win, they're way more willing to deal with the boring stuff like debugging later.

Seriously, your sister made a quiz game on her first try? I always figured coding was way too confusing for beginners to make something that cool so fast. My brother took forever just to get a simple text program running. What kind of app did she use, because that sounds like magic? I gotta know if there are more projects like that for new people.

Reminds me of what @hayden_rivera said, my nephew got stuck on fonts too after his first simple animation.
