Spent 3 hours debugging a missing semicolon in JavaScript yesterday

I'm working on this basic calculator app for my portfolio and kept getting NaN errors. Turns out I forgot a semicolon after a variable declaration in my add function. Three hours of my life gone because of one stupid character. Has anyone else had a tiny syntax error waste your whole evening like that?
